Are you up for a challenge? You will be the most sought after dive buddy once you are certified as a PADI Rescue Diver!
The PADI Rescue Diver course is a challenging but at the same time, rewarding and fun course. It gives you more confidence as a diver by improving your diving skills, increasing your awareness of diver safety and learning how to prevent & manage problems underwater.
What you will learn:
Because we have a Viking Scuba branch in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, Malaysia, you are able to complete your theory and pool sessions in the city before heading out to Dungun and Pulau Tenggol. This means that you will get more time to dive and relax when you’re on holiday. Just ask us about this option.
The PADI Rescue Diver course is divided into 3 sections:
You will be required to complete the theory session before the confined water or pool session & open water dives.
There are 5 sections in the PADI Rescue Diver manual. You will be required to complete the 5 knowledge reviews, watch the PADI Rescue Diver video, complete a MCQ exam.
The skills learned in the PADI Rescue Diver course will be new to most divers. We want to introduce you to the skills in a pool or confined water where it’s calm so you can practise to perfection.
You will be required to complete 3 open water dives in the sea. The skills learned in the confined water or pool session will be repeated to ensure competency.
There will be rescue scenarios as a final assessment so you can apply the skills and knowledge presented throughout this course to a realistic scenario.
